A few years ago, watching TV channels at home meant having a subscription, a cable and a TV set. In case of conventional TVs, there are a series of factors that can alter reception quality. Rain storms can make a lot of channels unavailable and also static electricity and radio frequencies can make some channels to have certain lines or dots displayed on them. Together with the development in technology, television entered a new era, the one of digital TV. This means that a computer connected to the Internet and a pear of speakers are enough for watching a lot of TV channels from all around the world. And of course, a specialized software is required. Programs like FreeSocial TV really make all these possible.

It's a free Windows application that once installed, it offers access to many TV and radio channels from all around the world, most of them having a good sound and video quality. Thus, your TV will become obsolete and you won't need to pay a lot of money with monthly subscriptions. All the channels will be at your finger tips, easy to access.

Clicking on the program's icon will display a clean interface that lists all the channels in the left part, organized according to their country. Clicking on any of them will display the live channel in a built-in video player, together with the bit rate of the channel and the size of the video window, displayed in percents. Using the controls displayed on the interface, the user can make the video window smaller or bigger and can also set it at full screen.

Using the right click context menu, one can add any channel to a favorites list, making it easier to access over and over again. A feature that other similar programs don't have is the included equalizer, that allows adjusting the sound and fine-tuning it, exactly how the user wants.
